HHH opened this weeks Smack Down to thunderous pop In Canada this week . He had his little friend the sledge with him as he brought up Armageddon and the big Russian Koslov screwing him out of the belt. Chavo then appears with a message from Vicki that if he ever interferes in any match again he will never get another . HHH challenges hom to come do something about it and Chavo comes close to the ring but backs off. Vicki comes out and puts Chavo in a match with the game. Long story short, HHH makes short work of Chavo, Chavo even try's the old phantom chair shot made famous by his uncle Eddie, and that back fired into a pedigree and the 123. Its sort of a shame that they cant find anything better for Chavo to do then being Vicki's Gopher. A true talent in the ring that is relegated to jobbing to get the Main event card guys over.

Next up is the a U.S> title match between the “Gold Standard” Shelton Benjamin gos up against the returning Hurricane Helms. Helms has had two victories over Benjamin , one a non title singles match and a tag match so it was his time for a title match. Benjamin was the winner in a real high impact contest on both sides. I have a feeling that they are saving this one for a prelim at a PPV soon. It's good to see the Hurricane back in the ring . The neck surgery he went through was very serious and his return was a up in the air for a while. Given the fact that the Hardy's are sporting belts ,the company might look favorably on the Hardy boys old running buddy. As for Benjamin, I still say that he would be a much bigger and brighter star in TNA . He moves in the ring like most of the X division guys in TNA and at least while Angle is still there , they would have a way to bring him.

The Colons are know on there way to the ring to as Carlito is going to face the waiting Brian Kendrick with his Associate “Zeke”. the best thing they could have done with Carlito was putting his brother and him together. And now that the Bella twins are their arm candy, well it just makes for good TV. Carlito took down Kendrick with the “backstabber” and I think I see a Colon Brothers vs. Kendrick and Zeke in the very near future.

And now we come to the Divas . Maryse won the right for the title shot last week, so her and Michelle McCool are going to square off for the belt. and to bring along the heat between Michelle and Maria, Maria is the special guest Ref . well Maryse took the belt from McCool and after it was all done , McCool jumped Maria from behind and put a beat down on her that can be only described as savage . This is going to lead to a three way soon and don't be surprised if Maria comes out on top. Maryese wont be Diva champ for to long. Half the reason she won was they are in Canada.

They ran two promos during the show. One was Kizarny's Debut next week . The other was the return of the Samoan Bulldozer witch will be coming sooner rather then later. Umaga has been gone to long and they need him back. The other I know nothing about but based on the promos , I do want to see.

MVP lost a squash to Kalhi . The match itself wasn't really that important . What was important was Kennedy's promo afterwards . While Kennedy has been showing up everywhere promoting his new movie, he has been popping at MVP's matches giving him grief beyond belief because of MVP's losing streak. I'm really starting to like Kennedy and I hope they do put him back on Smack Down where he belongs. He got lost in the shuffle when he got hurt and then got moved to Raw. He has in ring talent and he is really good on the mic so lets hope it works out for him.

Koslov took out Jimmy Wang Yang in a Squash. I watched Koslov a lot when he was in OVW and I just don't get it. He's slow to the point that you could call him Lumbering. Real or fake the accent doesn't work on the mic . Any body he wrestles has to go out of the way to get him over, I don't get why he is still getting the push that he is getting.

The main event was the “ Big Show” in a non title match against WWE champ Jeff Hardy. Let me first say that I am so happy for Jeff, anyone who has lived the country song life this past year, he gets suspended at the height of the biggest push in his career , his house burns down and his dog dies in the fire. George Jones couldn't write something better then what Jeff has been through. And know Jeff is on the top, target for any and everyone coming at him. Well he turned back the “Big Show” tonight and next week the Hardy's reunite on Smack Down to take on Edge and the Big Show.

Well I'm done for the week see you next Tuesday.

Pro Wrestling News and Notes From the Net

Well the big switch has happened and the WWE has pulled out all the stops to bring Smack Down to a new level to go with its new network. Thursday night , the my network presented an hour long edited version of Wrestle Mania 24 with a few new angles cut in for effect. The following night was the new “Smack Down” on My TV and it featured a barrage of champion versus champion matches that the loyal WWE fans don't normally see on TV. Its my guess that for the foreseeable future , you'll see a lot more of these cross show matches if the creative team can justify them. My idea would be to have a TV champ that would defend a belt between all three shows . They could be required to defend the belt every 2 weeks but only on one show at a time. Then you keep shifting shows to make sure the viewer would follow along.

This past Monday's Raw had a great deal more energy than the past few weeks . From the opening segment when Batista put down Santino Marella quick only to have JBL put him down quicker. To the close of the show with HBK struggling to get to his feet after he splashed his former protégé ,Lance Cade , from the top of a twenty foot ladder. Better matches and a faster pace for the bulk of the show is a much improved from the past month. I hope that part of the reason is that their not scripting everything and just letting the talent work some of it out on their own. Jericho and HBK is proof of how well that can work. Jamie Noble is involved in a good program with William Regal and Layla. Noble is a hidden talent that I think gets held back only because of his size. This is a mistake , and I hope they give him more TV time. I was thinking that maybe on Raw he wins the lottery or discovers that somehow he and Regal are related and then that would make Noble royalty also.

I keep hearing on the net about this wrestler that they just signed from Japan . With the last name of Yamamoto , if and when this guy is ready to come up from FCW, should have Lawler help him get over. For the uninformed fan, back in the day in Memphis, the King had an ally slash enemy for a long time by the name of Tojo Yamamoto who played a big part in his early career . I was thinking that one night Lawler gets into something with the second generation stable and this guy comes out and saves him.

While we are on the creative subject, it seems that Vince wants his talent on all shows to be better actors. Word is he has charged the newest member of the creative team, Freddie Prinze Jr, for this task. Now I know that I have brought this up before, but if they are serious about improving the woman's division, why not get Mrs. Prinzes in the mix . Sarah Michele Geller is a talented actress who has done her share of action roles and she could be a big help to a stale part of the Whole WWE brand. At the very least she could help them reintroduce Gail Kim to the WWE . You could have her in the audience on Smack Down and some of the Diva's are giving her grief and challenge her to get a partner and have a tag match. Imagine the reaction if she came down to the ring with Gail Kim.

The Undertaker's health is starting to become a serious issue. When the headline on the internet is “Early onset arthritis in his knee” that might be a problem . Not a real good sign going in to a PPV against the Big Show. There's even been some blurbs about a dislocated finger. The only thing that has come out is “ He works bang up and has for years, that's why he's so respected.

Turning the page to the completion . Two weeks ago, TNA handed out paper work to its talent roster on its new drug testing policy . It promises thirty day suspensions for first time offenders and harsher penalties for repeat offenders. I'm sure that the locker room sis on pins and needles waiting for the wrestling boot to drop. In other TNA news. Jeff Jarrett has taken an interesting way on the creative side to help push his return. Curt Angle gave an interview to the UK Sun in which he bad mouthed TNA management about how things where run saying there where to many gimmick matches and not enough wrestling matches. Jarrett has been using this as the whole the young guys don't respect the old guys in the locker room storyline. It has led to some of the best promo's that Sting has done in a long time. Its also help put the Hardcore Icon, Mick Foley in the middle of him an Angle. Finally ,TNA creative has dropped Frank Trigg temporarily from the show. They have said that its because they don't have anything for him to do, but I would guess that it more to do with the MMA style match against AJ Styles at the last PPV bombing in Toronto. What ever genius thinks that you can merge the worlds of Pro Wrestling and MMA needs to go back to the drawing board and try again.

And know for my predictions for this Sunday. Rey versus Kane I have to pick Rey because taking Rey's mask off in WCW didn't work and it wont work here either. The woman's belt is up for grabs when Candice Michelle goes after the Glamazon Beth Phoenix. Candice has looked real Rusty since her in ring return and she still can't match Phoenix's power and skill so Beth retains the title . The next one worries me. The Undertaker up against The Big Show and with all the chatter about the Undertaker's injuries this one cant be that good. I wonder if they might have Show win just to put Taker back on the shelf and get him right. Next up is a important one for Raw. Batista Versus JBL. Important because the winner of this one will have a Championship match at the next PPV. I have to say this will be Batista because of Bradshaw's health and because Batista has been grumbling in the back. For the ECW belt Matt Hardy retains probably by a DQ because Tony Atlas is not very slick about his interference lately . Make it a double header for the Hardy Boys when Jeff pins HHH and finally gets his day in the sun. just one thing Jeff, sober up before you get on a plane. Finally the Main event ladder match with world champion Chris Jericho takes on HBK Shawn Michaels . What I think is going to happen is that HBK wins and then turns around and loses to Batista on Raw the next night.

Well that's it for know, sorry it took so long to get this out. I hope to have something up by Tuesday or Wednesday depending on my schedule. Till then see ya.

Pro Wrestling News and Notes From Net

Unforgiven is in the books and as far as PPV's go it wasn't that bad. Two new championships were crowned and I come within one second of my Hardy Boys sweep prediction. Another pointless Diva match in the aftermath of Gail Kim waffling between the two companies . And the biggest news to come out , Randy Orton, without a sling I might add, is gathering his troops , for what I haven't figured out yet.

In a completely predictable Diva's match, Michelle McCool bested Maryse to keep her Diva's belt. let me get this straight , you want to increase interest in your women's division , so you have two women that could pass for sisters wrestle each other . If the WWE is really serious about increasing interest in the diva or the women's belt , they have to go against the Diva type. The blonde hair , the blue eyes , the fake boobs, they are all the same thing. The baby girl “ Anvil” is close and she is a well trained wrestler. But if Awesome Kong comes on the open market , she is the perfect anti Diva. She is so far removed from anyone on the WWE roster and if you change her look and let her talk on the mic you might have something . Let me float this out there , the former Awesome Kong, now known as MC Kong.

I want to pause for a minute , im watching raw while I write this and I really want to say something . Over the past few weeks , I have gained a very healthy respect for Jamie Noble. He takes a beating , he works backstage, he doesn't mind helping put someone over. He's a guy you need to find shit to do.

Back to the main topic, the tag team match pitting Priceless against Cryme Tyme was a very good tag team contest in a sea of no real tag teams. They both went after each other and it was a very good match but it was the ending that was interesting . A large Polynesian wrestler with even larger hair came out and helped Rhodes and Dibiase take care of Cryme Tyme . I'M guessing that the Colon "s will be next. The only problem with this faction idea is who are they going after. I get that their going to have Punk go up against Orton but what are the other guys going to do. They really need to flesh out this whole idea before they run it into the ground.

The swurve that Vicki put on the Undertaker was real good. The Big show has been selling the fact that he was left out of the scramble when the whole time he was working for GM. He really clubbed Taker and left him in a heap. I think this feud has legs and will play on TV.

In the land of extreme , there is a new champ in town. One half of team extreme realized a lifelong dream when he outlasted four of ECW "s best to take the ECW heavyweight championship. With all the new talent coming up, it will definitely be a good thing that guys like Hardy and Finlay on the show to help them get over. The show itself is getting better and with Hardy as the champ it can only make things that much better. The interesting part will be what they do with Mark Henry. I'm not sure leaving him on ECW is a good idea. Raw needs Heels badly , and sense he can play the ubber heel I think putting him on raw would be a good move in the long term.

And now we come to the WWE scramble. I know that Jeff Hardy has screwed up on more then one occasion but the fan reaction every time he hit's the ramp is the best of anyone else , including CEO son in law. The fans love him and when all is said and done its about the fans . Its time for Jeff to hold a championship belt. he at times has risked his health, his standing in the company , and his very life to perform and he earned his run. HHH is on the record saying the shot is there when he wants it. Lets hope he really means it.

The whole thing with Jericho and HBK thing takes on new legs with Jericho sneaking in the backdoor to get the title . I don't think that HBK has a title run in him right away but if he takes some time off and heals up he could restart it right around royal rumble time. Jericho has a match with Punk next week so that might indicate where they are going this week. Its also been announced that the first match signed for No Mercy is a woman's title match with Candice Michelle goes up against Beth Phoenix.

Well that's about it for know. Might have something by the end of the week.

Lets see , I have been away for a little while and there has been a certain amount of shit floating around the net that may or may not be true. First of all ,Randy Orton is going to pop up on tonight's RAW show even though he isn't “ Cleared to perform”. I'm going to say something I will regret some where down the line but this is either a job that has gone wrong or he was drunk on his bike and they are covering it up. Think about it , one of the bigger celebs from the show me state and there is no report from any law enforcement agency in the state something is going on.

The whole Mick Foley saga has just got my gut in a knot. It's not a secret that his contract has run out and its been widely reported that he is headed south to hook up with TNA. But the rub is, Foley is on the record as saying that he hasn't signed with TNA and he doesn't know where the rumor came from. Right off the bat, I don't know what names Foley owns or controls. When you look at it , there are three names that are in play here. We can rule out Dude love because I don't think TNA would be interested in him . Mankind, Cactus Jack ,and Mick Foley , that's a whole different story. I don't know who controls the names but since TNA has been portraying Abyss as the new age Mankind, is it that much of a stretch to have the” Hardcore Legend “ helping Abyss get over on the TNA fans. When Abyss is pulling out his hair in a Karen Angle Promo, I think the die has been cast.

Low and behold , Orton's out on RAW talking shit about everyone in general and CM Punk in Particular. They both gave and got at their leisure and then we heard from the right wing end of the WWE. JBL tried to scare CM Punk but the more interesting aspect of the whole situation was when Batista came out and cleared the whole ring .

The biggest thing about the Michaels Jericho feud is that Shawn got hurt again and while they aren't really any thing to stop this blood bath except HBK , the fact that he keeps getting hurt should be a sign that it is time to get out. HBK is one of my favorite wrestlers bar known and I really hope he has the good enough sense to know when its time to call it quits. I'm really afraid that Shawn is going to hang around long enough to get really hurt bad enough to where he cant walk at all.

The notion that the WWE is looking for its own TV channel isn't all that bad an idea. With all the tape they own the shouldn't have that much trouble programming . It could help out with FCW since their TV coverage is a little spotty. Also he can do a lot of in house self promotion and safe a bit on the cost. The only thing that bothers me , Vince with his own TV channel is like a chimp with a loaded gun anything could happen and most of it is bad.

Now its time for my predictions , Ill hold off on HBK Jericho because I don't think its going to happen. Priceless will be going up against Cryme Tyme and I think that Priceless will lose on a DQ to start off a feud with Cryme Tyme . The ECW scramble will be won by Matt Hardy in what I lick to think is going to be a Hardy sweep. If what I think is true ,the Hardy's are going to sweep the night with Jeff Hardy taking the WWE strap and ending the show in the ring with his Brother. A Diva's match has been added pitting Maryse against Michelle McCool . Maryse is too Green for any sort of run and with the specter of Gail Kim looming I don't see McCool losing . HBK and Jericho are still a go, but even if there was a winner either way the feud itself is on the shelf till HBK gets well.

The last one is the toughest to call. Orton was at RAW giving a lot of people grief , especially Punk. I cant help but think that when he does come back that Punk is his first feud . And if it's for the belt it will create all that much more heat.

Well that's it for now, you should hear from me later in the week.

The Hardy Boyz and Tag Team Wrestling

Last Tuesday on ECW, The Hardy Boyz made a brief resurrection of their once great tag team that was very popular and held the Tag Team Title numerous times. As you all know, the WWE has more or less gotten rid of the Tag Team division due to not pushing any duos and not hyping up any tag matches.

Now I'm thinking that if the WWE wants to make the Tag Team Division a more popular area, bringing back the Hardys wouldn't be such a bad idea. People still love both Matt and Jeff Hardy, and if they were to make a rivalry with The Miz and Morrison and have them win the title, then it would start to get peoples attention onto the Tag Team scene. Maybe also bring back some tag teams like The Undertaker and Kane, or maybe even bring The Big Show back into tag team action, since he's not doing much on Smackdown currently, and I just don't see a fued with him and the Champ (CM Punk) due to their majorly differnet styles.

Also The Big Show's popularity has been down as of late, mostly because he took his break when he was pretty popular and he's somewhat of a heel now. Anyways, if the WWE were to get tag matches like The Hardy Boyz vs. Paul London and Brian Kendrick then that would be an amazing match to watch. Maybe they could get some Jesse & Festus vs. Kane and The Undertaker.

I think bringing up some vintage Tag Teams would be a good move for the WWE. Also get some new ones going. Maybe a good team would be Evan Bourne and Super Crazy now that they're both on ECW, maybe Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke, or even Santino Marella and Nunzio with maybe some wrestling but a little comedy with it.

All and all I think it would be a great idea for the WWE to bring tag team wrestling back into it's primitive form, and to allow it to be as popular as it has been in years past.

JR comes out to big pop after Vicky introduces him and he seems to be ready to go. I know that on Monday when his picture came up on the titantron , his jaw dropped to the floor like a cartoon anvil. It was widely reported that JR wasn't happy at all and seriously thought of hanging it up. He wasn't informed in advance, and in my mind breaking up him and Jerry Lawler may have been a big mistake.

HHH came out to huge pop and told JR that if there was anyone he would have brought over with him it would have been JR. HHH then started talking about the fans and how he was happy to be there when in reality he's happy because his wife is about to have there second child and then come out on the road with smack down so he'll be around to help her out.

Edge interrupted the Game and after a few minutes of marking their territory, Batista came out on ramp and while Edge distracted HHH thru him out of the ring and into a runaway spear from the Animal.

The first match of the night was a tag team encounter that pitted three of the wrestlers in Sundays three way dance for the ECW belt that was Kane , The Big Show and Mark Henry going after the title. Tonight has Mark Henry and MVP goes against Kane and Show. MVP has been jawing lately about his contract and has been actively seeking to switch shows. I for one was completely caught off guard when they didn't move him to raw. During this evenings match, MVP was avoiding the Big Show so much that he tried to leave the ring and his own partner throw him back in the ring and right into a choke slam from Kane.

Finlay and Hornswoggle took on Rider and Hawkins in a tune up for Sundays encounter with the WWE tag team champions The Miz and John Morrison . Finlay himself was dominate over the two EDGE lackeys and it ended with the Tadpole Splash.

Backstage EDGE is whining to his future bride Vicki about Batista taking his belt and she tells him to focus on Matt Hardy and she assures him he will get his belt back.

Matt Hardy and EDGE went toe to toe with Hardy dominating EDGE early on . I for the life of me don't get moving Matt Hardy to ECW when they moved Jeff To Smack down . You would have to upper card guys that have never been more popular, who could team up and dominate the tag team division , and as an added bonus you could have a sort of Cain and Abel type feud between the two of them. If the goal of this draft was to prop up Smackdown for their network switch , they really dropped the ball on this move. Anyway after a great match that went back and forth for a long time EDGE hit a spear and pinned Hardy.

After a music video type promo of brother Jeff its announced that Jeff's debut will be next week. A have one great hope in this. Somewhere in the near future Jeff and The Undertaker will have a rematch of one of the greatest matches I have ever seen. The ladder match on Raw between The Under taker and Jeff Hardy was to this day one of the best regular TV matches of all time.

Mayrse , Natalya and Victoria take on Kelly Kelly ,Cherry and Michelle McCool in yet another audition match to find out who's going to face Natalya for the new Smackdown womans belt. as I have said before , with the completion's Knockout division getting serious pop , I'm glad to see that they are taking steps to upgrade the Divas. Mayrse caught Cherry for the win so it will be interesting to see who's the other have of this fight is

Next in the chute , two OVW alumni square of with ones career on the rise , and the others in serious transition . Domino, former one half of the WWE tag tem champions pretty much has split from his partner Deuce and he went up against the Russian Vladimir Kozlov. Its strange that in a world of big entrances , Kozlov coming out to no music at all oddly works. He has a very menacing presence and the silence just adds to it. While Domino is on his own know and heade for some lean times ahead, he gave the big Russian his toughest test to date but in the end Kozlov prevailed.

Rey came out to say goodbye to the Smackdown fans and got his pop in. They have been talking about this move for awhile and while a like the move, I still cant help but think that if your loading up for the switch in networks, why not keep at least some of top tier guys.

The main event has Batista in his last match before he goes to RAW against the Samoan Bulldozer Umaga. The most interesting part of this is the internet story that the WWE is going to turn Umaga Baby face and let him work the mike. Batista had Umaga beat when EDGE and his Goons hit the ring . They wail on the Animal until the Game hit's the ring and cleans house. The show closes with a Pedigree an a Batista Bomb to Hawkins and Rider.

With the creative problems they have had over the past few months I understand that this draft was necessary but there are thing about it I just don't get. ECW was screwed losing what little they had and gaining something that I have no idea how they will use in Matt Hardy. Raw has defiantly been weakened losing it number one star and breaking up its number one announcing team. And in all this mess, where does the Undertaker fit.

On the heels of a bloody " One Night Stand" and amidst rampant net rumors that the Undertaker has either retired or been forced off of smack down, it is time once again to surf the sights and see if we can separate the hype from reality if there is such a thing in this business .

Starting off with the injury situation. As a result of CM Punk Chop Blocking the Big Show and him falling on the steel steps , show has a fractured sinus cavity and possibly his orbital bone . He is seeing a specialist in LA tomorrow. Randy Orton has a compression fracture of his left collar bone and will be out until September . This puts the title picture on raw in an odd light. I know they think that Cena and HHH will hold things together but based on the reaction of the fans on Monday night , Jeff Hardy has to be part of the equation. Despite his many flaws, Hardy still has the built in fan base that he has always had.

With the general manager job still open on Raw, they threw the fans another curve Tuesday night when Teddy Long was named ECW General Manager and Armando Estrada was moved to the active Roster. Teddy then put Armando in a match with Matt Hardy which he quickly lost . Then Teddy put him in another match up against newcomer Colin Delaney and lost again. Teddy then told Estrada that he was taking away his contract and that he would have to earn it back. I think the move is good in that Teddy knows what he's doing and the language thing with Estrada Real or not just doesn't work. Besides as Buff as Armando is , he should be in the ring more.

I certainly hope that I'm not the only one that is real tired of seeing the Hogan's name all over sights like TMZ. What happened to their son and the other young man was a great tragedy and son Nick has received a fair and just Punishment for his part in what happened . I don't care if he is having problems coping . I don't care if he and his father said some really stupid stuff in a private conversation. And I don't really care which Hogan Parent is Banging some young thing . The world doesn't need to know all of this and I really hope it stops soon. All this really proves is that rich families are just as screwed up as poor families

Some good news for a change. Rey Mysterio was back stage at One Night Stand looking very fit and ready for action. I'll bet he wasn't real happy that the show was in his home town and he wasn't ready to go. And for the future heirs to the McMahon family fortune, Stephanie will not be going on the road for TV taping s or PPV's and for all practical purposes, is on maternity leave. It is widely thought that she will be off for a while and she has made it clear that while on leave she will have little if anything to do with the creative process.

And now to the subject of the ultimate Warrior . For weeks now the net has been ripe with stories of the warrior's training sessions down in Texas . He has been putting out short promo's on You Tube bad mouthing just about everyone and now TNA is talking to him with the thought of reuniting the Blade runners . Not a real good idea guys. Anyone that has ever had any dealings with this man has never had anything good to say about him. I know you guys are looking for ratings , but think this through before you do anything that you'll regret .

And to the WWE, why are you being such pricks about Flair going to the NWA hall of fame ceremony . You have to realize that the bulk of the Nature Boy's career didn't even involve the letters WWE. It makes you look petty and deprives a great in ring performer of recognition that he deserves . You didn't handle his last run all that well so lighten up and let him go.

Last but not least , folks the Undertaker is just taking some time off to heal up some nagging injuries. He hasn't flunked a drug test .he hasn't been fired. He's not retiring . He is in the middle of a long term deal and making huge money.

Will Jeff Hardy be Able to Redeem Himself in the WWE Following His Suspension?

As some wrestling fans are aware, Jeff Hardy will not be involved with the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at the grandest stage of them all, Wrestlemania. What happened was due to Jeff getting suspended for 60 days due to failing a drug test according to the WWE Wellness Policy. If that wasn't enough, in another low blow given to him and kicking him while he's down, he lost everything he owned including his pet dog. No one really knows what caused the fire but it wasn't because of Jeff Hardy. Bottom line is that he is going through some very hard times and can only hope for the best for Jeff. If he can recover from this and get all the help he needs, then it will be great.

Before Jeff got suspended, he was going to be in the middle of perhaps the biggest push of his career. Other than being on the Smackdown brand, he had held just about every championship except for the WWE Title. If he had been on Smackdown, he would have to obtain the Smackdown Tag Titles, the US, World, and if you count the ECW Title as part of the Smackdown brand, then yes. It was so easy to predict he would not only win Money in the Bank but also become the WWE Champion for the first time in his career. Alas, that is not going to happen at least not for a while. Is there a chance it will happen? Of course there is but probably not for another year at the minimum depending on how he recovers from his suspension. In fact, I believe that he was supposed to win that opportunity and get a WWE Title run, whether or not it would have been a long one is another story.

There is no doubt that Jeff can perform and can get a crowd excited during a match. In fact, that is what he is known to do in the first place. He started off as a tag team wrestler teaming with his brother Matt. Both are singles star but Jeff seems to be the one enjoying most of the success while Matt is currently out and should hopefully return soon. About Jeff, if he can recover his career, it will be a great comeback story if he decides to continue wrestling especially in the WWE. If not, I'm afraid he'll end up like Scott Hall or Jake “The Snake” Roberts, guys that could have been world champions but didn't due to having drug, alcohol, or possibly both related problems. I hope Jeff can recover and really show he's serious about it.
