1. Young Mahon

I’ve always liked Shane and Stephanie. I didn’t watch WWE until WCW and ECW were bought out by Vince McMahon. I loved it when the Alliance came in and invaded WWF. Led by Shane and Stephanie, old superstars of WCW and ECW joined with WWE superstars to try and take over WWF. Stephanie and Shane being against Vince made the entire show. Now, Shane and Stephanie are running WWE and doing a good job at it. I’m glad that G.M. resigned. He didn’t really do much for the show. Shane and Stephanie need to quit looking for a G.M. and just stay in control of the show themselves.

2. JBL vs. Taker

I was in awe when I learned that taker was at the first Raw ever. Since then he’s been terrorizing WWE night after night. This night was no different. Taker chokeslamed JBL. JBL got back up and got a second wind. It only lasted a second, however, as he soon went outside the ring to rest. He was shocked when Taker got back up and he decided to just take a count out. JBL thought he had gotten out of the match, but the problem was he had made an enemy the week before. HBK threw him back into the ring, where he was tombstoned by Undertaker.

3. Dancing?

This is WWE, not Dancing with the Stars. That part probably had the worst rating of the entire show.

WWE Judgment Day 2008 Results

John Cena vs JBL

The audience didn't really seem to care about this match, that brought the ratings down. The match wasn't bad, bust it wasn't that great either. Another things was that John Cena got the expected win!

Ratings: 6/10 Winner:John Cena

(WWE Tag team championship match) John Morrison & the Miz vs CM Punk & Kane

No one was really excited for this match either, again that also hurt the overall rating of the match. But the match was very solid. John Morrison, and Cm Punk got to work in the ring for the majority of the match, and Cm Punk also got to show alot of things he can do in the ring! As expected John Morrison and The Miz pick the win to retain the titles.

Ratings: 7/10 Winner: John Morrison & the Miz

Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels

The match was simply excellent, the audience was into it, great ring psychology and storytelling. Well that's what you get when you let two of the best ring generals in the entire business, go at it. At the end Chris Jericho extend his hand for a handshake! This match would definitely have to be a candidate, for match of the year!

Ratings: 10/10 Winner: Shawn Michaels

(WWE Women's Championship) Beth Phoenix vs Mickie James vs Melina Perez

The match was actually prety good. That's not that big of a surprise, since the divas placed into this match actually know how to wrestle!

Ratings: 7/10 Winner: Mickie James

(World Heavyweight Championship Match) The Undertaker vs Edge

Pretty good match, the ratings would've been way higher if the hadn't been facing off each other in duplicate rematches, for the third month in a row. Also, at the end when Vickie announced that the world title is still vacant, was quite disappointing cause that means the feud still continues. I think the fans, and me personally have had a enough of this! On top of that they don't even change it up a bit. I mean they've been facing each other in the exact same matches since Wrestlemania!

Ratings: 5/10 Winner: No one

Jeff Hardy vs MVP

They spent about 5 minutes building this match up. The match was actually really good. It's kind odd that they accomplished more in these few minutes, than MVP, and Matt Hardy could in 3 weeks! As expected Jeff Hardy picks up the clean win!

Ratings: 8/10 Winner: Jeff Hardy

(WWE Heavyweight Championship Match) Triple H vs Randy Orton

They match was decent! This match would've been awesome for the main event of Raw, but not to headline a payperview! The match needed to be alot better, and creative. I mean your inside of a steel cage, how hard can it be? Triple H gets the predicted win. I also think that Shawn Michaels, and Chris Jericho should've been in the main event!

Ratings: 6/10 Winner: Triple H

Final thoughts

Overall the show was alright. It just that the matches need to be alot better. As I said before, all the matches were good. But almost none of them were payperview quality matches! Also, a couple of more segments would've helped!

Final rating: 7/10

Pro Wrestling News and Notes From Net

Unforgiven is in the books and as far as PPV's go it wasn't that bad. Two new championships were crowned and I come within one second of my Hardy Boys sweep prediction. Another pointless Diva match in the aftermath of Gail Kim waffling between the two companies . And the biggest news to come out , Randy Orton, without a sling I might add, is gathering his troops , for what I haven't figured out yet.

In a completely predictable Diva's match, Michelle McCool bested Maryse to keep her Diva's belt. let me get this straight , you want to increase interest in your women's division , so you have two women that could pass for sisters wrestle each other . If the WWE is really serious about increasing interest in the diva or the women's belt , they have to go against the Diva type. The blonde hair , the blue eyes , the fake boobs, they are all the same thing. The baby girl “ Anvil” is close and she is a well trained wrestler. But if Awesome Kong comes on the open market , she is the perfect anti Diva. She is so far removed from anyone on the WWE roster and if you change her look and let her talk on the mic you might have something . Let me float this out there , the former Awesome Kong, now known as MC Kong.

I want to pause for a minute , im watching raw while I write this and I really want to say something . Over the past few weeks , I have gained a very healthy respect for Jamie Noble. He takes a beating , he works backstage, he doesn't mind helping put someone over. He's a guy you need to find shit to do.

Back to the main topic, the tag team match pitting Priceless against Cryme Tyme was a very good tag team contest in a sea of no real tag teams. They both went after each other and it was a very good match but it was the ending that was interesting . A large Polynesian wrestler with even larger hair came out and helped Rhodes and Dibiase take care of Cryme Tyme . I'M guessing that the Colon "s will be next. The only problem with this faction idea is who are they going after. I get that their going to have Punk go up against Orton but what are the other guys going to do. They really need to flesh out this whole idea before they run it into the ground.

The swurve that Vicki put on the Undertaker was real good. The Big show has been selling the fact that he was left out of the scramble when the whole time he was working for GM. He really clubbed Taker and left him in a heap. I think this feud has legs and will play on TV.

In the land of extreme , there is a new champ in town. One half of team extreme realized a lifelong dream when he outlasted four of ECW "s best to take the ECW heavyweight championship. With all the new talent coming up, it will definitely be a good thing that guys like Hardy and Finlay on the show to help them get over. The show itself is getting better and with Hardy as the champ it can only make things that much better. The interesting part will be what they do with Mark Henry. I'm not sure leaving him on ECW is a good idea. Raw needs Heels badly , and sense he can play the ubber heel I think putting him on raw would be a good move in the long term.

And now we come to the WWE scramble. I know that Jeff Hardy has screwed up on more then one occasion but the fan reaction every time he hit's the ramp is the best of anyone else , including CEO son in law. The fans love him and when all is said and done its about the fans . Its time for Jeff to hold a championship belt. he at times has risked his health, his standing in the company , and his very life to perform and he earned his run. HHH is on the record saying the shot is there when he wants it. Lets hope he really means it.

The whole thing with Jericho and HBK thing takes on new legs with Jericho sneaking in the backdoor to get the title . I don't think that HBK has a title run in him right away but if he takes some time off and heals up he could restart it right around royal rumble time. Jericho has a match with Punk next week so that might indicate where they are going this week. Its also been announced that the first match signed for No Mercy is a woman's title match with Candice Michelle goes up against Beth Phoenix.

Well that's about it for know. Might have something by the end of the week.

Pro Wrestling News and Notes From the Net 7-31-08

Well right away, the WWE has announced that it has hired long time fan and actor Freddie Prinze Jr. as part of the creative staff. While on the surface this seems to be Vince puckering up for Hollywood to e a feeling that hmove. I mean that they call it sports entertainment and what it really is in my mind is a very unique form of live action theatre where the stage is in the middle. Having an actor helping with the storylines and giving a fresh fans perspective to the creative staff can only help overall. And the other part of this story is that one of the number of sports entertainment websites said that they may be talking to Prinze's wife about working an angle on the show. Being a big “Buffy” fan from way back in the day I think that this could be really good.

From the completion down south. TNA parted company with two fairly big names today when Black Reign's profile was taken off its website . Dustin Rhodes was working on an appearance basis and hadn't been on TV in three months. I have a feeling that he's headed to FCW to help his dad whip the “ minor league” into shape. Dustins many issues with his dad hopefully have healed enough for them to pass along their collective wisdom to the up and coming talent . Tomko on the other hand is a different story. Tyson Tomko has had some issues with TNA manegment for a little while and is now seeking his fortune in the land of the rising son.

On the tragically comic side of life , the Sandman finally made bail after showing both cheeks of his ass at Captain Lou Albano's 75thBirthday party. The tape of this little incident is somewhere on you tube and is tragically comical to say the least. It was almost as bad as a few months ago at an Indy show where he was supposed to come out and save Spike Dudly from a beat down and he was so drunk that it took him several minutes to get to the ring. On the more tragic side, Kevin Nash walked out early on a TNA taping Tuesday because he didn't like the way it was suppose to end. At the present time there isn't much detail on what happened and given the fact that they're playing this Kaz is leaving angle so close to the vest , this whole thing might just be a big job. The longest reigning IC champ nearly lost a finger a few days ago outside of a Boston Pizza joint when he and a fan were going to smash guitars together and the fan missed and caught his finger in the strings. He took eight stitches and will recover.

The newest issue of the “ Globe” there is an extremely negative article going so far as to say that there is a fear that he would become the next Chris Benoit. I know the whole Hogan Family saga has been big checkout line news but saying something that stupid is still a really big stretch.

And know lets talk about the women . Why on gods green earth are they doing this angle with Beth Phoenix and Santino Marella . No disrespect to Mickie James, the Glamazon is the best in ring woman they have and she doesn't need to be wasting her time on a throw away storyline like this. TNA found a credible foe for Kong and also found a way to sell it so once again. So once again, the knockouts are one upping the Diva's and a second title belt isn't going to help this situation.

Taking a look at Smack Down's spoilers , I wont say what happens, but I really didn't see any thing that earth shaking either. The whole focus seems to be when the Undertaker is coming back and where is he going to be. The rub is going to be , he has apparently struck up a little thing with new Diva champ Michelle McCool and he more then likely wont want to change shows . But can he and HHH co exist on the same show. We shall see soon enough.

And finally the subject of Mike Adamlie must be addressed. I said this in my last article , Dick Ebersole most have something bad on Vince to get Vince to give this Hack a job. And know this idiot is going to be the on air face that is in charge of Raw. This guy who from day one has done nothing right and even Monday night he tipped the whole thing off by getting up before Shane announced he was the new GM. I have no idea what the plan is but from my mind the best thing about this whole thing is he's off the announcer table on ECW.

Well that's all for know , I'll be talking to you soon.

Outside Looking in

“ Outside Looking In”

One of the more interesting thoughts flowing around cyberspace is what was the deal with Kanes meltdown on raw this past . Raj.com is reporting that over the week. Paul Bearer's web site has been inundated with hits about the “ Big Red Machine's” tirade about “ Is he alive or dead” is a hint that Bearer might be coming back. Bearer of course is playing real close to the vest with his comments , added fuel to the fire. In my mind this also adds new fuel to the speculation the Undertaker is going back to RAW. I think that involving Bearer is a good idea but since the plan is to load up Smackdown for the network change , I cant see them moving Undertaker back to RAW.

A blast from the past also popped up on ECW Tuesday night when HOF Tony Atlas appeared out of thin air. While its good to see some of the people that I grew up “white guilt” over the Michal Hayes thing with Mark Henry. Anyhow it couldn't hurt Henry to have a seasoned pro like Atlas to help him get over.

On the subject of ECW, while I applaud running up the guys from Florida Championship Wrestling who are ready, changing Wildcat Chris Harris's name was a really dumb idea. While his somewhat dubious rep has followed him to the WWE, he's known as Wildcat Chris Harris and the creative people at WWE should realize that the same people that watch their shows also watch the completion. They could have at least split the difference and called him “Wildcat Walker”. I certainly hope they don't screw with Ron Killings to much.

With Little Rey going to raw, there seems to be a push to get some more Mexican wrestlers up to RAW. It was all over the net that Rey was not happy about the move to Raw and they may be trying to smooth things over and increase their Latino demographic by getting some more lucha dores to Raw. Moving Rey to RAW was a calculated risk and Smackdown does draw more latino viewers , with Reys star power, it could workout better then they hoped.

And now to the DIVAS . The match for the new woman's belt at the “Great American Bash” will be Natalya Niedhart versus Michelle McCool . I have been talking for quite awhile about how the knockouts have been one upping the Diva's for a little bit. it's a good thing that they have a women's belt but if your going to add another one, it needs to be a TV championship that is defended on all three shows. This would help prop up the ratings on all three shows if they pick the right champion.

If Marijuana wasn't illegal they would already have their TV champion in Rob Van Dam. I know that there is microscope on the WWE as far as drugs go but RVD is in no way shape or form a Steroid case and in my mind, the phrase “ gifted athlete” gets thrown around a lot, try throwing around “Gifted wrestler”. Lets face a few facts. RVD is a huge pothead, he has never tested positive for performance enhancing drugs of any kind. He has been very pubic about his use of MJ, he does have some busts on his record, but he has never ever contributed to the steroid problem. He is a talent that is really missed and I hope that he comes back somewhere soon.

I know the plan was to put RAW and ECW together but they have pushed that back at least twice and I think that they are rethinking their plans about whether ECW is going to die on the SCI FI vine or whether it will live to fight another day. All I really have to say on this subject is Vince, if your going to kill ECW do it quick and as painless as possible for the hardcore fans that understand what the word Extreme means.

I thought it was a decent show but there are some real problems still there . By the way 3D and Booker T just beat the hell out of LAX and put Hernandez through a table .

The show Sunday for sure had its moments, but the whole Edge Undertaker thing is really wearing thin. To still not have a champion on your only network TV show is a little bet stupid .I as a fan am getting real tired of Edge's girlfriend Vickie Guerrero making things up as she goes along. Stripping the title was bad enough bit when you pervert the count out rule when the title is vacant is just wrong . I know that Freebird Michal Hayes is not in the loop about such things, but come on. By the way TNA update Roxxie saved ODB from a serious haircut and it looks like she really wants one of the beautiful people bad.

The cage match Sunday night went according to script . One things for sure, if HHH is really in the running for the new marvel movie “Thor” that will tie up his time for quite awhile. With Orton cutting back on his schedule , what does that do to Raw. Wow , Joe just blew off Nash for he king of the mountain match at the next PPV slammiversry.

The year anniversary of the Benoit tragedy and NBC's Dateline may have a story in the works about the sport in general and Benoit in particular. It is in the planning stages and the big hang up right now is weather Nancy's family will cooperate with the story. Robert Rood just took out Matt Morgan to qualify for the king of the Mountain match. The last match will end up being Booker T up against A.J. Styles.

Before the main event , Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed hit the ring with a brief case with 25,000 dollars in it . They issued an open challenge to any woman in the crowd who can beat Kong. A ringer in the crowd who happens to be a student at 3D's school going by the name of Melissa . Kong blew he r out of the water with ease .

There has been a lot of chatter over the net about a article in Rolling stone that links Diva Ashley to a modeling agency slash escort service on the west coast .The reporter and the magazine are standing by the story they reported and Ashley is claiming that there is another woman named Ashley Massaro that is the real culprit. As far as her status with the WWE has not changed and its being whispered around that company is telling her to be quiet about the whole thing in hopes that it will all die down.

To the main event on impact . It was Booker T up against A.J. Styles . With Styles getting over on Booker, Tomko came out and tripped up A.J. so that Booker won. After the match was over Tomko went after A.J. . 3D ran in and with Booker started a bad beat down on Styles . Karen Angle runs out to save A.J. and is Quickly shoed away by Ray. She returns with her husband Curt armed with a chair. He quickly hit the ring and cleared it . While Curt was holding all of them off , Ray kept telling him to lookk behind him . He finally did catching his wife comforting a beat up A.J. . He nailed A.J. and tossed his wife out of the ring . He then picked Styles up and held him while the other four beat him down.

Nick Hogan is not doing all that well in his new digs. Bitching about no windows is a little bit lame Nick you are in prison. Listen to your dad and man up ,keep your head down and a death grip on the soap.

Finally right in the middle of the biggest push of his pro career , William Regal was suspended from the WWE for his second violation of the company's wellness policy . Unlike the Jeff Hardy situation , most of the locker room is very concerned and surprised because they didn't see this coming . Regal has battled addiction for most career and was thought to have a handle on it but know nobody really knows. All I can say is that I hope that he hasn't missed out on his one big chance. More to come soon.

Undertaker and Batista proved they could work together against The Great Khali and Mark Henry. It took an outside force to stop them - John “Bradshaw” Layfield.

The SmackDown commentator interrupted the match as Batista and Undertaker were dominating their two opponents ending the match on a disqualification.

Earlier, the Deadman and the world champion agreed to finish their score at Survivor Series - inside Hell in a Cell.

In their tag match, the two showed they had each other's back. As Undertaker kicked Khali in the head and Batista was about to hit Henry with the Batista Bomb, JBL left the broadcast table and surprised the champion with a clothesline. That allowed Henry to take out Batista with his bear hug while Khali wore down Undertaker with the vice grip headlock.

JBL had been attacked by Batista and Undertaker after taunting them in interviews, then lost heavily to Stone Cold Steve Austin to be the Cyber Sunday world Championship match referee.

Mysterio Beats Noble; Finlay Next

Jaime Noble finally got an opponent near his own size. But Rey Mysterio proved too much for the former Cruiserweight Champion.

After Mysterio hit Noble with his famous 619 rope swing, Noble tried to counter the West Coast Pop into a powerbomb, but the former world champion countered that move into a modified hurricanrana for the pin.

Noble had been matched up against several oversized opponents over the last few weeks, possibly due to his insensitive comments toward interim general manager Vickie Guerrero.

After the match, Mysterio heard words from Finlay, who he beat in a stretcher match at Cyber Sunday. Finlay said he could see fear in Mysterio and called him a quitter, reminding him of last year's I Quit match against Chavo Guerrero. Mysterio and Finley will meet again next Friday.

Festus Wins One on One

Festus defeated Domino pick up his first singles win.

Festus, who changes from a comatose person into a fierce wrestler upon hearing the ring bell, dominated the former Tag Team Champion for virtually the entire match. Domino's partner Deuce eventually started taunting his opponent, but Festus' tag partner Jesse stopped it with a flying punch from the ring steps.

With the distraction gone, Festus finished Domino off with a face-first backwards slam from his shoulders to get the pinfall.

Big Daddy Attacks Big Red Again

Kane defeated MVP after not getting the chance at Cyber Sunday. But after the match, he had to deal with his ECW foe, Big Daddy V.

After Kane took out the United States Champion with a chokeslam, V came out and assaulted the Big Red Machine with a Samoan drop. Kane was still sore from the ECW Monster Mash Battle Royal, which the two were in.

Kane was picked as MVP's opponent at Cyber Sunday after Matt Hardy was unable to wrestle due to stitches in his forehead. MVP was counted out just as the match started.

Not Coach's Week

Jonathan Coachman challenged Mick Foley on SmackDown, but his plan to have his own guest referee backfired.

The “Mr. McMahon” he got for the official was not Vince McMahon but his illegitimate son Hornswoggle. Both opponent and referee got shots in on Coachman. After Foley took him down with the Mr. Socko mandible claw, Horswoggle added a frogsplash before making the three count for Foley's win.

It was déjà vu for Coachman, who lost to Hornswoggle on RAW with Foley as the referee.

Palumbo Rolls Again

Not even a Victoria distraction kept Chuck Palumbo from beating Kenny Dykstra.

When Dykstra's girl taunted Palumbo from the apron, before Michelle McCool knocked her down, Dykstra tried to take advantage with a superplex. But Palumbo countered with a flying shoulder from the turnbuckle before finishing him off with the Full Throttle.

Smackdown Recap - September 28

The Undertaker returned to SmackDown and delivered a final statement to Mark Henry, beating the World's Strongest Man for the second time in two weeks.

In a match where neither man seemed to have momentum for long, Henry broke out of Undertaker's first chokeslam attempt and threw him into the ropes for a clothesline attempt. But Taker ducked the arm and hit the chokeslam on the second try to get the pinfall.

The win may very well end a feud Taker has had with Henry for four months. Henry's assault on Taker in May cost him the World Championship and knocked him out of action until he beat Henry at Unforgiven.

Victoria Slips by Torrie

Victoria used both counteraction and sneaky tactics to defeat Torrie Wilson.

After Victoria Irish whipped Wilson into a corner, Wilson leaped over her charge and tried to roll-up Victoria. But Victoria sat on top of Wilson and grabbed the ropes to help her get the pinfall.

After the match, a mysterious woman appeared in the ring and assaulted Wilson. She threw Wilson into the corner, kicked her several times in the midsection, delivered a knee to her back before twisting her around the ring post and threw her into the outer wall.

MVP Faces Red Monster

When MVP found himself in a match with Kane thanks to his tag team partner Matt Hardy, he chose to get disqualified instead of chokeslammed.

The United States and Tag Team Champion dodged multiple chokeslam attempts during the match, including one where he threw Kane over the top rope. Kane stayed on the apron, and climbed back in after grabbing MVP by the throat. When MVP couldn't break free, he went for a low blow kick, ending the match.

Hardy interrupted MVP's VIP Lounge party earlier, on his one-year anniversary of joining SmackDown. After showing video clips of MVP's more humiliating moments and calling him arrogant and egotistical, Hardy announced he got MVP the match with Kane, who once burned him in a Inferno Match.

Noble Free From Hornswoggle

Jaime Noble got two victories - a win over Shannon Moore and the news that he no longer has to deal with Hornswoggle.

The former Cruiserweight Champion beat Moore by finishing him off with a gutbuster, but the bigger news came just before the match. Acting General Manager Vickie Guerrero asked Hornswoggle to relinquish the Cruiserweight title over concerns for the leprechaun's safety. Vince McMahon had been seen asking Finlay to help him do something about his illegitimate son.

Palumbo Continues to Impress

Chuck Palumbo finally got a one-on-one match with Kenny Dykstra and made the most of it.

The motorcycle enthusiast handled Dykstra quite easily, counteracting his kick with a clothesline and his leap off the corner into a suplex, then delivering a running kick before finishing him off with the Full Throttle facebuster for the pin.

The two had faced off in multiple battles over the past weeks, usually involving Victoria and Michelle McCool.

Other News

While being interviewed by commentator John “Bradshaw” Layfield, Rey Mysterio again challenged the former champion. JBL told Mysterio he needed to worry about the Great Khali, who he will face next week. Mysterio was able to surprise JBL with a 619 hit.

Batista admitted he has no experience in a Punjabi Prison match, which he will defend the World Championship in at No Mercy. But the champion said he's not scared, “When you back me into a corner, I lash out. And when I lash out, people get hurt.”

Speaking through his interpreter Khali asked Batista to watch his match with Mysterio closely, saying Mysterio can run away in the match while Batista will be unable to inside the prison.

General Manager Theodore long remains in a coma after suffering a heart attack during his wedding ceremony last week.
