The Chase for the ECW Championship has come down to Elijah Burke and Tommy Dreamer.
Kevin Thorn was eliminated from the Chase in a triple threat match with Dreamer and Burke. Burke got the pinfall, although Dreamer actually did the work.
As Thorn went for a body press on Burke, Dreamer broke it up and delivered a DDT on Thorn. Burke threw Dreamer out of the ring and pinned Thorne.
The match was a highly competitive one with many near-falls. At one point all three went for several consecutive rollups on each other.
Dreamer and Burke will face off next week to determine who will face C.M. Punk for the championship at No Mercy.
C.M. Punk beat Matt Striker, but Big Daddy V had the last word.
V assaulted the ECW Champion with a massive fireman's carry just after Punk picked up the pinfall win.
Striker spent most of the match focusing on Punk's left wrist that he hurt early. Punk finally turned the match around with a running knee in the corner and a springboard clothesline. After he finished Striker with the GTS, V entered the ring and began his assault.
Mike Knox ultimately proved too much for Nunzio.
The scrappy Italian put up a fight against the massive Knox, but Knox finished him off with a bicycle kick to the head to get the pin.
Knox dominated the match early with several shots to Nunzio's back. Nunzio countered with numerous kicks to Knox's legs before Knox recovered for the finisher.
The Miz made quick work of hometown Indianapolis native Silas Young, then hade more for Balls Mahoney.
After Miz beat Young with the Reality Check neckbreaker, Mahoney came out and wanted an answer to his date request for Kelly Kelly. Miz gave his own answer, hitting Mahoney in the face with a microphone.
