It has been found that the primary reason athletes use drugs is to gain an advantage over their competitors. This is an unfair means adopted by sportsmen in all fields. I am very disappointed and disgust by this.
Therefore, to solve this problem the younger generation should be educated to imbibe a true spirit of sportsmanship so that people revert back to ethical behavior in sports.
Measures should be taken like launching awareness campaigns in which the public should be told not to use unfair means e.g. drugs, unauthorized equipment etc. Schools should encourage students to participate in rallies and make posters on this issue. Study of ethical behavior should form part of school curriculum e.g. topics should be covered under value education. Exemplary punishment should be give to delinquents for demonstrative effect.
