Baseball it seems is going down the tubes, whatever happened to the days when being a good baseball player took hard work and practice? Left and right I am hearing of baseball "greats" using steroids. I understand baseball is a deeply competitive sport, but come on.
If you can't hack it, and the competition's getting heavier, then practice more.
I am tired of reading news headlines like "A-Rod connected to known steroids dealer"
I don't much get into baseball, but I used to love it when I was younger.
These days though, it's not really even worth watching.
Why? because now everytime a baseball flys and the ball player gets a home run
first thing that comes to mind is, "was he using steroids"
You may think I am being overly critical, but the fact is that these days
that question is one that unfortunately but legitimately looms over
the accomplishments of the baseball players.
There are also many other sports stars in other athletic arenas that use steroids.
Baseball is just being used in this article as an example because it is
one of the sports that have had the worst influx of steroids into its ranks
in recent years.
If you think I am being overly critical let me assure you my only goal
is to say that sports need to get their credibility and integrity back.
The only way that'll happen is if they stop the steroid use and have a
drastic overhaul in the way the sports are handled.
