The government are also going to promote walking and cycling. This will also reduce the amount of carbon emissions released. They would also give benefits to people that cycle or walk to the Olympic event.
Encouraging others to stop throwing things in the bin
During the Olympics you will notice more recycling station would be in place. This is to keep rubbish from going to landfills during the games. Each venue will also feature an education campaign with recycling facilities.
More parks
There will also be more parks encouraging others to keep fit and have a nice day out. They are also planning to make the biggest park in Europe which will be more than 20 miles.
Climate change
They are aiming to reduce carbon emission by a whopping 50%.
Reusable materials
90% of the materials that would come from demolished buildings would be reused for other things.
Transport
There will be more footpaths, cycling lanes railway stations and tube stations.
