Tottenham Hotspur is a football team based in the north of England's capital city, London. They are nicknamed Spurs and their home ground is White Hart Lane. This London club founded in 1882 have many honors including the F.A cup winning that eight times, the U.E.F.A cup winning that two times, the top division twice and the European cup winner's cup once. Their kit has the famous white shirt with blue shorts but when playing in Europe Spurs play in all white. The away kit has a light blue shirt and blue shorts as of the 2006/07 season and the chocolate and gold third kit and away kit in Europe.
Tottenham has a reputation of being a Jewish club with some rival supporters referring to spurs as the "yids" trying to insult the spurs fans. However the Tottenham fans adopted this as their name and include it in many of their chants. Tottenham's main rivals are Arsenal who were brought into north London from Woolwich on the south of the Thames. Arsenal were brought into the top division at the expense of Tottenham so Spurs got relegated as Arsenal were promoted. So you can see why there is such a strong rivalry.
