Hot or Not In The NFL

All about a few of the hottest players in the NFL last year and my predictions about what is yet to come in the upcoming NFL season.

With football season right around the corner all eyes have turned to those who were over achievers and those who were under producers. Will your favorite player live up to your expectations or will they be an unexpected flop. Well, the following is what my thoughts are about some of the hottest NFL stars from the last year. First on my list is the Vikings Adrian Peterson. Last year Peterson was on track to have one heck of a rookie season, however due to the most unfortunate of circumstances he had a season ending knee injury. So the biggest question on everyone mind is, will we see a repeat injury or will we see an encore performance of what was supposed to happen last year. In my opinion, Adrian's injury was a one time occurrence.

I am confident that he will go the extra mile to make sure that his knee will not suffer the same fate as last year and that it would be a disappointment if Adrian did not run for 2000+ yards this year. Secondly, is the QB for the Cleveland Browns, Derek Anderson. Who would have thought that a relatively new QB could take the pitiful looking Browns from a team that could barely win a game to a team that almost got a playoff berth last year. The only problem I see is that in the eyes of the Cleveland faithful, he is only second best. Brady Quinn, for some reason is the fan favorite. I for one would be more likely to trust the football inthe hands of the more experienced Anderson, however it is yet to be determined who will be the starter at the beginning of the season.

If Andeson does in fact get the nod I am confident that he has the ability and the tools available to get the struggling Browns into the playoffs. Next is the dynamic duo of Tom Brady and Randy Moss. These two were completely unstopable during the regular season last year but struggled to make the connection in the playoffs like they did during the regular season. In my opinion this team has been figured out. The only thing odd about it is that it took the lowly New York Giants to provide the blueprint for the Patriots demise. Finally, I want to address this New York Giant team. The odds makers in Vegas were having a field day when the Giants made it to and won the Super Bowl. However, I am sorry to say that the men in blue and white should not expect to have the same success next year.
