Rick Alonzo of the ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS writes, "Faced with increasing speculation about the future of all-star forward, Kevin Garnett, the Timberwolves are faced once again with difficult decisions.
Does it make sense to trade Garnett, and should the Wolves move him now?
The organization might answer that question soon, especially now that the Phoenix Suns have emerged as a possible trading partner. Suns general manager Steve Kerr said Friday that he has had a preliminary discussion with Wolves Vice President of Basketball Operations Kevin McHale about a deal."
I reckon a move for him would be best as he's not going to reach any farther than a slim playoff chance with the Wolves. The loss of Cassel, Wally, Flip, Chauncy, Spreewell hasn't helped lift the weight on his shoulders.
Whereas a move would see his efforts being maximized with more promise of winning a championship than he ever had with Minnesota, he would be able to get that championship which he's been fighting for and deserves.
