  1. The 1995-1996: Chicago Bulls.

    They had a record of 72-10 the greatest amount if wins in an NBA regular season. Including the playoffs they were 87-13. They had the great Michael Jordan and the help of Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman.
  2. 1971-1972: L.A. Lakers.

     With the skill of Gail Goodrich, Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlin, and Jim MacMillan, the Lakers got there first championship. They had a regular season record of 69-13. They have the record for the longest winning streak which was 33 games.
  3. 1966-1967: Philadelphia 76ers.

    Lead by Wilt Chamberlain, Hal Greer, Chet Walker and Billy Cunningham, they snapped the Celtics eight consecutive Championship streak. They had a great record of 68-13.
  4. 1991-1992: Chicago Bulls.

    Lead by Michael Jordan they had the 5th most winning season in history with a recorded of 67-15. They beat the Portland Trail Blazers in 6 games to win a Championship.
  5. 1985-1986: Boston Celtics.

    Led by Larry Bird and the help of Robert Parish, Kevin McHale, Dennis Johnson, Danny Ainge and Bill Walton the finished the regular season with a recorded of 67-15. This was the best recorded in the team history and they had the best home record ever of 40-1.
  6. 1986-1987: L.A. Lakers.

    With Great NBA all stars Earvin "Magic" Johnson Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and teammates James Worthy, Byron Scott, A.C. Green and Michael Cooper the Lakers had a great record of 65-17 they had a playoff record of 16-3 and beat the Boston Celtics for the Championship.
  7. 1982-1983: Philadelphia 76ers.

    With the newly added addition of Moses Malone along with Julius Erving, Andrew Toney, Maurice Cheeks and Bobby Jones the Philadelphia won their first Championship in 16 years. They had a record of 65-17.
  8. 1982-1983: Boston Celtics.

    Led by one of the greatest NBA players and Champion ever Bill Russell and help from Sam Jones, John Havlicek, Tom Sanders and Tom Heinsohn won Boston a 7th consecutive title. In addition they had a great record of 62-18.
  9. 1988-1989 Detroit Pistons.

    With a great team including Isiah Thomas, Bill Laimbeer, Joe Dumars, Mark Aguirre, Vinnie Johnson and Dennis Rodman they Pistons had one of the greatest defensive teams ever. They had a great playoff record of 15-2, and swept the L.A. Lakers in the 1989 Finals.
  10. 1969-1970: New York Knicks.

     With a record of 60-22 they had a great passing team including Willis Reed, Walt Frazier, Dick Barnett, Dave DeBusschere, Bill Bradley and Cazzie Russell. The beat the L.A. Lakers with a 4 games to 3 in for their first ever NBA championship.

1982-1983 Sixers was the most dominant team I've ever seen. Most of their losses came late in the season when they had already wrapped up the best record in the league. Sweeping a great LA Lakers team in the finals put the finishing touches on the best sports season in my lifetime.
