With all the drama in the Lakers locker room it's hard to believe that they are doing this good. Kobe is still a Laker, guys are playing their roll on the team, and they are having success. As they should, The Lakers are a force to deal with in the west. But how long can they keep it up?

Even though they are having this success you can't ignore the fact that they did the same thing last year. Many people say that the Lakers are the leagues biggest tease. Many predict that they will start to decline after the all-star break. Then, Kobe Bryant will go back to the good ol' ball hog we all know and love. Kobe looks good now with the “team-ball”, but do you think that he can do the same thing in play-offs?

In the mist of all this you still have to wonder if Kobe is doing this just to make himself stay in L.A. It almost seems like everyone has forgot about the trade controversy earlier in the season, but now it's like it never happened. You have to wonder that if they don't go all the way… will he leave. Only time will tell
