Shooting: Magic or Practice?

I know you've all seen the pros. You've probably never thought you could replicate those moves. Now you can.

I'm sure we've all wondered how to shoot a basketball at one time or another. The pro's make it look so easy, that most people assume it really is. In reality, it takes time and effort to learn how to shoot correctly.

As most of players know, when you shoot the ball, you need your weak hand to support the ball and guide it, while your strong hand provides the power for the shot. If you put the ball between your forearm and biceps and squeeze, you can determine what angle you should hold your stronger arm at. Concentrate on an invisible spot right above the rim.

Theres no magic way to shoot that makes all of your shots go in. The way you'll improve is by constant practice. Good luck improving your shot.
