How Far the Boston Celtics Have Come

The big changes of the Boston Celtics from the 2006, 2007 season to the 2007, 2008 season.

The 2006,2007 season for the Boston Celtics was one of there worst seasons ever in team history. They had everything go wrong there franchise player was out for most of the season and they had a 18 game losing streak. That season they went 24 and 58 which was the 2nd worst record in the NBA that all changed on draft day of 2007 NBA draft. The Celtics made a big trade they traded Delonte West, Wally Szczerbiak, and Jeff Green to the Seattle SuperSonics for Ray Allen. This would be a good trade for the Celtics But there was a better trade. On July 31 the big trade was made for Kevin Garnet. The Boston Celtics traded Al Jefferson, Ryan Gomes, Theo Ratliff, Gerald Green, Sebastian Telfair, for Kevin Garnet from the Timberwovles.

The key deference this season has been the Celtics Defence. The second Kevin Garnet got to the team they had defence. The Celtics have really been good on both ends of the floor. They have the leagues best defence and on the offensive end they are good to. Right now the Celtics hold the opposing team to 100 points a game best in the high scoring NBA. On the offensive end they are score 111 points a game, one of the better offences in the NBA.

The one major deference's this season has been the Boston Celtics big three players Kevin Garnet, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen .It has not been just them they have many good role players like Kernrick Perkins, Eddie House, James Posey, Tony Allen, and Big baby Glen Davis. There is one player on there team who stands out like the big 3 is Rajon Rondo who is in his 3 rd season and is really having a break out season. Right now the Celtics are the top team in the NBA at 47 and 12 and there in the playoffs already but can they make it to the finals over the Detroit Pistons and win in the finals over a strong west team.
