Throughout the entire history of baseball, there have been many great pitchers. Ranging from Cy Young all the way down to Randy Johnson, the game of baseball has had it's fair share of pitching talents.
Throughout the years though, only one pitcher has clearly stood out as the best of the best. This man, originally named Andrew Jones, has dedicated 8 long years to playing his favorite past time. On and off the field, they call him "Magic 8 Ball" Jones, a nickname given to him after years of utter perfection on the mound.
He is a very well rounded player, who works hard at every aspect of his game. There are three main reasons why Jones happens to be the all time best, which consist of; his pitching skills, all around skills as a player, and his behavior seen on and off the field.
Magic "8" ball Jones is a very talented and skilled pitcher, which is the first reason why he is the best baseball player ever. It's been said that after one inning of his pitching, the catchers glove is torn to pieces and is constantly being replaced. Not only are his pitches that strong, but also they always fly straight and true. When you watch a game, the man in the number eight jersey literally stands out to you as he throws pitch after pitch after pitch.
So far, he has been in the Hall of Fame for the unbelievable accomplishment of pitching two whole no-hit games! Young and old baseball fans come to every game just to witness the amazing blur of a ball zooming towards home plate at an extremely high speed. Jones has quite an arm!
