Items Needed
- 2 piece fishing rod
- fishing line
- a stick from your backyard.
the 2 piece fishing rod is obviously able to be separated. Separate them.Take the smaller and thinner piece(most likely the top). Tie a piece of fishing line (about 1.5x the length of rod) around one of the top or bottom eyes of the fishing rod.Make sure it is tight and not loose.Bend the rod as if you just caught a fish. This is the hard part.while its bended tie the other side of fishing line to the other end of the fishing rod's line.Make sure it is tight. You have now completed your bow.
The arrow you shoot is just as important as the bow.Find a sturdy , as straight as possible stick.Dead or alive doesn't matter. If you plan on shooting a target i'd suggest sharpening the tip of the stick with a knife. If not then move to fletching. Fletching is your choice in whether you do or don't have time. Its not a need but sure does help.If you have time, move on if you dont then go on ahead and close this window and start shooting.Fletching is when you put a feather in the back of the arrow. This helps stabilize the arrows flight. To do this cut a slot in the stick on the back side of the arrow. Stick it it as much as possible. If its tight You are completely finished. If not, wrap some more fishing line around the back tip of the arrow until its tight and steady.
